The new Keithley 2461 touchscreen SourceMeter® Source-Measure Unit (SMU) builds on the strengths of the 2460

The model 2461 not only includes all the current and voltage ranges available on the 2460 (7A DC, 100V, 100W 4-quadrant source/sink) but adds pulse current capability up to 10A at 100V (1kW) and new 18-bit, 1MS/s dual digitizers for sampling both current and voltage simultaneously.  

The 2461 also provides a contact check function which makes it simple to maximize test integrity by verifying test connections easily in just 100µs before an automated test sequence begins.  The 2461 retains the touchscreen and icon based control from the successful Models 2450 and 2460 and packs it all in a half rack width, 2U package.
