Tektronix have announced a new power analyzer in the form of the PA3000 - a multi-phase capable device aimed at the high end performance segment but with mid-range price.

The basic accuracy of 0.04% with a 1MHz frequency range over 1 to 4 channels puts it firmly among the most capable products on the market. It also has the ability to measure standby power according to IEC62301 down to 20mW at 240V, and the ability to measure up to 600V ac rms (2000V peak) and up to 30A rms.  Up to 100 harmonics can be displayed on the colour graphical display and automation is possible by LAN, USB or GPIB (option).
